When you plan your wedding you may have a lot of questions. Below is a list of questions you may have in regard to your wedding flowers. We are asked quite often about these particular ones. Please give us a call or send us an email if we can help you in any other way.
How much do wedding flowers cost?
Wedding flowers vary quite a bit depending on what kind of flowers and how many you may need. If you chose roses for instance over daisies the cost can double. It is also dependent on for instance how many reception centerpieces you may need. The average cost for bridal bouquets are approximately $150-200. Bridesmaids $65-$85, corsages approx. $17, Boutonnieres approx. $13
How far in advance should I plan my wedding flowers?
You can start planning your flowers as soon as you decide to get married. Most brides and grooms will first choose the bridesmaids dresses and overall colors before they decide on flowers. You should reserve your wedding date with your professional florist at least 6 months before your wedding. Spring, summer and fall weddings book quickly so you may want to reserve sooner in those seasons. With most florists, you can reserve the date but not necessarily choose your exact flowers at the that time.
How will I know which florist to choose to design my wedding flowers?
Most importantly you should see some of the designs your particular florist has made for previous weddings. You should feel comfortable with the designer and know they are listening to exactly what you want. Do they have fresh flowers on site so you can get a feel for what they are describing? Your floral experience should be fun and your florist should be enthusiastic! Enjoy!
